Hoeve (farmhouse) Nieuw Batelaar is almost 100 years old and is situated just outside of Lunteren, in central Holland. We have a beautiful view of the Walderveense windmill (which is still in use) and a landscape of farm roads and castle lanes.

The long driveway gives a direct feeling of privacy. The host and hostess welcomes the guests with coffee, tea and homemade apple-pie and wish them a pleasant stay.

The surroundings are ideal for walking and cycling. The numerous lovely villages along the outskirts of the Veluwe will inspire you.  There are many good museums not far from Lunteren such as the outdoor museum in Arnhem. There are enough cultural and culinary attractions with places such as Amersfoort, Veenendaal, Arnhem en Apeldoorn, in the vicinity, all to be reached within a 20 to 30 min. drive

The guesthouse has its own entrance and garden which guarantees lots of privacy. The large living room with kitchen gives an extraordinary view of the surroundings, which gives a feeling of tranquillity and space. The spacious bedroom has 2 luxurious kingsized beds. The also spacious bathroom has a massage shower and infraredsauna,

which gives access to a lovely heated inside swimming pool. Both summer and winter, the pool measures a water temperature of 34°C, a small health resort.
The under floor heating provides a pleasant environment in both summer and winter.

The large slidingdoor opens to a lovely architectural designed garden.

The guests may use the facilities provided to stable a horse. There is a box available, dimension: 3.50 x 3.50 m.
Just as on all farms we have our farm animals. In our children’s zoo we have sheep, a goat, a pork belly pig, chickens, 2 Shetland pony’s and a mini horse (Fallabella). We also have 2 Fell ponies, 4 dogs and not to forget our farm cats.

The host and hostess, Adriaan en Mia are enthusiastic coachmen; they drive horse and coach frequently. Upon request, the guests may join them to nostalgically explore the surroundings. The day begins with large assorted farm breakfast in the farm or guesthouse. Upon request it is also possible to dine in the guesthouse. The guesthouse is suitable for 2 persons (a baby cot is available). Its understandable that honeymooners and nature lovers find what they are looking for, a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere
